The battle rages between the forces of light and forces of darkness. Dark clerics summon demons to fight for their side while the clerics of the light counter by summoning angels. The Orzhov clerics use to powers of both sides to restore balance and order. As the war escalates, dark forces call upon the chaotic power of Rakdos, which is then challenged by the light's summoning of Sigarda and her powers of nature and balance. Will the angels or the demons prevail? Will the clerics be able to sway the outcome or end the conflict? Let's draft and play it out!
So... A cube with three factions - black, white, and black/white that interact thematically along tribal lines. Blue, Red and Green cards are sparse but can have a big impact. Blue's presence is balanced. It aids and hinders black and white evenly. Red can help both sides but strongly favors black. Green can help both sides but strongly favors white.
I am going for theme and flavor while trying to keep things balanced. For example, cards such as Blessed Wine, Unsummon, and Clip Wings are included largely because the art is thematic. There are still too many "junk" angels and demons in the cube but working on paring it down. As always, work in progress.
