"Combat tricks" are instant spells that commonly (but not exclusively) boost your creatures Power and Toughness. Usually these spells have a certain aha! or gotcha! vibe.
Introduction.Hi I'm Jupon and I'm from Costa Rica! This cube was made for me to play with my local friends who are inexperienced and new to magic and draft.
I built this cube in order to be able to play without having my friends pay for any cards, but also to explore and share my favorite parts of Magic with them.
The environment of this cube is fast and aggressive. you can expect a low mana curve and low power banding.
Goals and Motivations.My goals for this cube are for there to be close, interactive games in which there are no landslide wins, for players to always expect the unexpected and for players to always have a chance to comeback when behind.
Cards in this cube prioritize the combat phase and synergize with combat tricks.
With the exception of lands this is a singleton cube with more than 360 cards so every draft is a little different.
All removal has to either be a combat trick or be inefficient / have drawbacks.
Price of cards is not a restriction as I'm willing to proxy cards and my playgroup doesn't have any grievances with that.
